SurveyMonkey — Understand Why

The brief was to create several "bite-sized" promotional videos, each one focused on a single product feature. For this one, I put our hapless heroes in a humorous situation to show how important it is to have context for your data.

SurveyMonkey — Get Help

Another in the series of "bite-sized" promotional videos for SurveyMonkey, this time highlighting how quickly customers can create surveys—with a little help from AI. Again, I collaborated with the team's video producer to create the script and storyboard.

SurveyMonkey — There's a Form for That

This was a fun project designed to promote what was, at that time, SurveyMonkey's newest feature: Forms. I came up with a quirky concept and script, collaborated on storyboards and casting, acted as script supervisor on set, and even made a cameo as a background actor!

SurveyMonkey — Make the Connections That Matter

For this project, I conceived and scripted a humorous video showcasing SurveyMonkey's benefits for three key customers: Marketers, HR professionals, and CX specialists. This full-length video was further repurposed into various cutdowns—60, 30, 15, and 6 seconds—to maximize versatility and impact across different platforms and marketing channels.

Evernote — Where Deep Work Meets Teamwork

Returning to my advertising background, I created a script to promote the latest Evernote feature, focusing on ease-of-use and the benefit to the viewer. I also collaborated with Evernote's ACD of Video on storyboards and voiceover direction.

Evernote — Ready for Business

This was a fun one! To highlight the value of Evernote Business, I came up with a creative concept playing on the phrase "ready for business" and developed it into a full script.

Together with Evernote's ACD of Video, we then created storyboards, auditioned the cast, and directed both the live action shoot and voiceover recording.

Musson Patout — Anti-Texting PSA

How do you promote an auto dealer, without sounding like every other loud, obnoxious auto dealer?

I decided on a public safety issue worth embracing, and created a thought-provoking script with a simple, powerful tagline. Finally, I designed an audio mix that engages the ears as well as the eyes.

The result? A memorable spot that had people talking long after it was off the air. Exactly as planned.

Central Coast Federal Credit Union — Flex Loan

CCFCU has been serving the financial needs of the people of Monterey County, California since 1949 -- back when there were still canneries operating.

For this campaign, the client's goal was to highlight their flexibility and differentiate themselves from the 'big banks'.

I created a whimsical, engaging script and visual concept that generated a healthy 15% increase in loan applications.

Central Coast FCU — Happily Ever After Home Equity

For me, the most enjoyable days are when ideas seem to tumble out onto the page, taking on a life all their own.

In this case, the client wanted to promote their Home Equity Line of Credit offering. Once I developed the storybook concept, naming the product "Happily Ever After" felt obvious. Add in my catchy new tagline ("It's All About You"), and the whole thing fell into place.
